The SPCA is looking for a volunteer to take on the role of Tiny Home Takeout Coordinator.
Tiny Home Takeout (THT) is a year-round food support program that runs every Wednesday and Friday evening from 6:00–7:00 PM. Each week, volunteers serve homemade meals on a pay-what-you-can basis out of the hut at the Stanley Park Community Centre.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, and is comfortable taking on a leadership role within the program.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting and guiding volunteers during shifts
Acting as the main point of contact for the program
Communicating regularly with the Food Program Lead, Volunteer Manager, City staff, THT staff, and volunteers
Attending virtual bi-monthly meetings with other Food Program Coordinators
Helping ensure shifts run smoothly and volunteers feel supported
We’re hoping to find someone interested in a longer-term commitment who can commit to at least one evening shift per week. The expected time commitment is approximately 8-10 hours a month.
Please apply by May 24th, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
